Obama Won’t Let His Daughters Listen to Filthy Rap Music… Well, Except Snoop Dogg (Video)

July 31, 2008

Busted! Obama Is Snoop Dogged—-

Yesterday, after the rapper Ludacris released his filthy rap on B**** Hillary, paralyzed McCain and mentally handicapped Bush, the Obama campaign came out with this statement:

“As Barack Obama has said many, many times in the past, rap lyrics today too often perpetuate misogyny, materialism, and degrading images that he doesn’t want his daughters or any children exposed to,” said spokesman Bill Burton.

Of course, you don’t have to go back to far to hear Barack Obama talk about one of his three year-old girl’s favorite rap songs– “Drop It Like It’s Hot”:

His daughter thought it was “Drop it like a sock.” …How cute!

It makes you wonder what the 3 year-old thought of the other words like killers, niggaz and motherf***ing from that same Snoop Dogg song:

I’m a Bad Boy, wit a lotta ho’s
Drive my own cars, and wear my own clothes
I hang out tough, I’m a real Bo$$
Big Snoop Dogg, yeah he’s so sharp
On the TV screen and in the magazines
If you play me close, you’re on a red beam
Oh you got a gun so you wanna pop back?
AK47 now nigga, stop that!
Cement shoes, now I’m on the move
Your family’s crying, now you on the news
They can’t find you, and now they miss you
Must I remind you I’m only here to twist you
Pistol whip you, dip you then flip you
Then dance to this motherf*cking music we crip to
Subscribe nigga, get yo issue
Baby come close, let me see how you get loose!

Nice! Yeah, Obama sure wouldn’t want his daughter to listen to Ludacris!
He better keep her on that Snoop Dogg diet.

Perfunction has more on this.
Hannity read the rap today on the radio.

LEAVE BARACK ALONE! (The Video)

July 31, 2008

Poor Barack Obama…
He lost his Mojo.

He’s losing his lead in the polls.
And, He lost his mind in southern Missouri, talking about blowing up tires to beat high gas prices.

Today HotAir posted two videos on that loud whining noise coming from the Obama camp.
Here’s the PC version:

Or, maybe not.
The yapping dog in the background is a nice touch.

It’s Vacation Time, Baby!… Pelosi Adjourns House Without Addressing Gas Price Crunch

July 31, 2008

Worst. Congress. Ever.
The Pelosi House Democrats voted for a five week vacation in August and September without taking any action to lower gas prices.

No House Republicans joined the Democrats in their vacation vote.

GOP.gov put out the following statement:

Rep. Adam Putnam (R-FL), Chairman of the House Republican Conference, issued the following statement shortly after the House of Representatives voted 213-212 – with no Republicans voting in the affirmative – to adjourn for five weeks in August and September without taking action to lower gas prices and break our dependence on foreign oil:

“The Democratic Congress should be held in contempt for voting to skip town without dealing with America’s energy crisis.

“Democrats are out of touch, out of excuses, out of support and out of time. Americans are hurting. Independent polls show they overwhelmingly support House Republicans’ all-of-the-above energy solutions.

“It’s time Democrats put their boarding passes back in their pockets and get to work by voting on the American Energy Act.”

The NRCC released a video on the do-nothing Democrats and their refusal to address the energy crisis facing Americans, via HotAir:

Speaker Pelosi is not only on the wrong side of the issue with Americans, but even a majority of Californians are now in favor of offshore drilling.
To Speaker Pelosi, drilling is still all a hoax.

Letterman Airs "Top 10 Signs Obama Is Overconfident"

July 31, 2008

It must be OK to make jokes about Obama now…
The Top 10 Reasons Snobama Is Getting Overconfident:

“The (snobby) One” was the topic of Letterman’s Top 10 list on Tuesday.

Here’s the video:

Thanks Assaf!

The Politico is reporting that Obama’s arrogant attitude is starting to wear on people. Obama is even finding himself the butt of jokes after his 8 day global photo-op:

Barack Obama’s critics laid down the foundations of the strategy months ago: The Republican National Committee started the “Audacity Watch” back in April, and Karl Rove later fueled the attack by describing the first-term Illinois senator as “coolly arrogant.”

It wasn’t until the last week, however, that the narrative of Obama as a president-in-waiting – and perhaps getting impatient in that waiting – began reverberating beyond the e-mail inboxes of Washington operatives and journalists.

Perhaps one of the clearest indications emerged Tuesday from the world of late-night comedy, when David Letterman offered his “Top Ten Signs Barack Obama is Overconfident.” The examples included Obama proposing to change the name of Oklahoma to “Oklobama,” and measuring his head for Mount Rushmore.

“When Letterman is doing ‘Top Ten’ lists about something, it has officially entered the public consciousness,” said Dan Schnur, a political analyst with the University of Southern California and the communications director in John McCain’s 2000 campaign. “And it usually stays there for a long, long time.”

Following a nine-day, eight-country tour that carried the ambition and stagecraft of a presidential state visit, Obama has found himself in an unusual position: the butt of jokes.

The Republicans didn’t have to try hard to paint Obama as an elitist snob.
He’s actually done pretty well all by himself.

John Edwards Dodges Media– Keeps Mum on Love-Child

July 31, 2008

Well, the story is up on Drudge Report now, so it’s pretty much over for Silky Pony.

Bummer.
John Edwards dodged the media yesterday rather than answer questions about his out of wedlock love-child.
The News-Oberver reported:

It was only three weeks ago that John Edwards was fielding media questions on his chances of filling the Democratic Party’s vice presidential slot on Barack Obama’s ticket or a potential Cabinet position in an Obama administration.
On Wednesday, however, the former U.S. senator and 2004 vice presidential nominee was eager to duck the press when the questions took a tabloid turn.

About a dozen reporters and photojournalists attended a speech Edwards gave to an AARP Foundation symposium on poverty and aging in Washington. Afterward, he avoided most of the waiting reporters, at least some of whom wanted to question him about recent reports in the National Enquirer that alleged an inappropriate relationship with a former campaign videographer.

There were reports that the love baby, Frances Quinn Hunter, was actually the child of Andrew Young, a long time Edwards aide, but mother Rielle Hunter refuted this claim months ago.

Again… Barack Obama Deals Another Race Card

July 31, 2008

The TUCC candidate threw another race card down today…

Obama’s campaign manager on April 25, 2008, during National Journal interview:

The vast, vast majority of voters who would not vote for Barack Obama in November based on race are probably firmly in John McCain’s camp already.

Obama on June 20, 2008, during a Florida stump speech:

“We know what kind of campaign they are going to run. They’re going to try to make you afraid. They’re going to try to make you afraid of me. He’s young. He’s inexperienced and he’s got a funny name. And, did I mention he’s black.”

Obama on July 24, 2008, during stump speech in Berlin, Germany:

“I know that I don’t look like the Americans who’ve previously spoken in this great city. The journey that led me here is improbable.”

Obama on July 30, 2008, during a Southern Missouri stump speech:

Democrat Barack Obama, the first black candidate with a shot at winning the White House, says John McCain and his Republican allies will try to scare them by saying Obama “doesn’t look like all those other presidents on the dollar bills.”

* * * * *

Remember, these race attacks come from the man who recorded a book on tape about “white folk’s greed.”

You’d think that might raise a few red flags.

UPDATE: ABC’s Jake Tapper disagrees with Obama.

UPDATE 2: McCain Camp responds:

Barack Obama has played the race card, and he played it from the bottom of the deck.”

Good for the McCain camp for calling him on it.

Iraqi Interior Minister Takes Time to Visit & Thank Wounded Soldiers at Walter Reed

July 31, 2008

Some people take time to do the little things.
Some people work out.

Iraqi Interior Minister al-Bolani went to Walter Reed yesterday to see the wounded troops and to convey gratitude and appreciation for the sacrifices made by these great warrior-soldiers.

Al-Bulani also praised U.S. servicemembers’ families noting thay their sacrifices are equally important.
Defenselink.com reported:

Iraq’s interior minister thanked U.S. servicemembers and their families for their sacrifices on behalf of his country during a visit with wounded U.S. troops at Walter Reed Army Medical Center here today.

Through an interpreter, Jawad al-Bulani told reporters that he wanted to convey his country’s “gratitude and appreciation for the sacrifices made by these great warrior-soldiers, in the freeing of the Iraqi people and in helping us in Iraq to recover from tyranny and dictatorship.”

Bulani also praised U.S. servicemembers’ families, noting their sacrifices are equally important and appreciated by his nation.

The senior Iraqi official also told reporters that he’d witnessed “the level of technical and medical sophistication” that is being practiced at Walter Reed. Observations at Walter Reed will be employed “to help our own wounded and many, many victims of terrorism and violence in Iraq,” Bulani said.

Security has greatly improved in Iraq in recent months, Bulani said.

When asked about media speculation on possible windows of time for possible phased withdrawals of U.S. forces from Iraq, Bulani commented that his government is engaged in ongoing discussions involving many issues that “will depend on all kinds of considerations that will come into play.”

Blogger Call With Ambassador Charles Shapiro on Colombia Free Trade

July 31, 2008

On Wednesday, Ambassador Charles Shapiro who leads the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs’ Task Force for the Free Trade Agreements with Peru, Colombia and Panama held a blogger conference call on the latest developments with the Colombia Free Trade Agreement.

As you already know from numerous postings here on this blog, Speaker Nancy Pelosi took unprecedented action this year to block this free trade agreement. The House Speaker of the most unpopular Congress on record has refused to allow a vote on the CFTA until progress is made addressing the violence against Far Left and communist unionists in Colombia.

However, the popular Uribe government has already made significant progress in cracking down on violence and murder against unionists in Colombia:

Since pro-American President Alvaro Uribe has been in office Colombian homicides are down by 40%, kidnappings are down by 83% and terrorist attacks are down by 76%.
But, this is not good enough for Nancy Pelosi and Congressional Democrats??? (WSJ and White House)

Since 2002, homicides of trade unionists has fallen between 80% and 86%. (White House)

On Wednesday, Ambassador Charles Shapiro answered questions on this Colombia trade agreement.

Fausta has a transcript of the discussion.
It was a great discussion with Monica Showater and representatives from RedState and Real Clear Politics joining in.
I would recommend taking the time to review how the Democratic Congress is hurting our great ally in South America.
(Also, it should be noted, Ambassador Shapiro was very balanced and non-blaming in his analysis that he shared with us during the conversation.)

Two-Thirds of US Disagree with Obama and Pelosi on Drilling

July 31, 2008

Unlike Speaker Pelosi, the angry leader of the worst-Congress-ever, most Americans do not agree that drilling for oil is a hoax.

Unlike Barack Obama, the antiwar liberal Democratic nominee for president, most Americans believe that putting air in car tires will not bring down gas prices.

Obama says that– “We could save all the oil that they’re talking about getting off drilling by making sure your tires are properly inflated.”

Today, more than two-thirds of Americans say they favor increasing drilling efforts off America’s costs while only 30 percent disapprove of such action according to the latest CNN poll. This issue has become a divisive one on the campaign trail, with John McCain in favor of lifting a congressional ban on offshore drilling while Barack Obama is opposed to such a proposal.

Help Save the Obama Kogelo School– Donate Today

July 31, 2008

On July 26, 2008, The Evening Standard reported that although Barack Obama promised his Kenyan family members and villagers that he would assist them with their school, he has failed to honour his pledge.

Barack Obama said he would help his family members and fellow Kenyan villagers with the African school named in his honor but he never came through with his promise. (Evening Standard)

It took a conservative to fund a village…
After reading this sad story about the Obama Kogelo School, blogger Baldilocks decided to set up a website to help fund this poor Kenyan school.
